The primary objective of this study is to determine the criteria for classifying an assignment as renewable within an educational context.
To achieve this objective, a review of ten reports and studies related to the subject was conducted. The most commonly utilized methods for defining renewable assignments were identified and summarized.
The findings emphasize the importance of student engagement and the utilization of resources under open licenses.
Based on the synthesis of various sources, it is concluded that a renewable assignment involves not only making resources available under open licenses but also fostering student participation in its creation. Moreover, the activity should extend its utility beyond its original purpose to be deemed renewable within the educational framework.
